About Amy

Let Amy’s passion become your child’s advantage!

Amy earned her degree, with honors, in Specialist Primary education from Nottingham Trent University in the UK (the top specialist education program in the country).  Over the last 20 years, pursuing her passion for helping young learners, Amy has continued to add to her professional accreditations and capabilities with extensive training in Orton Gillingham, Wilson, Making Math Real, Math-U-See, Reading Simplified, Infant Massage, Baby Yoga, and brain-based learning

After 10 years of classroom experience in Manchester, Chicago, and San Francisco, Amy established a private practice providing intervention for students with learning differences such as dyslexia, dysgraphia, and dyscalculia. In 2023, Amy expanded her educational practices to introduce preschool enrichment and infant massage and yoga classes.

Amy is an enthusiastic and energetic teacher with an unyielding dedication to the learning of children in a highly creative, hands-on, and empowering way.  She firmly believes in the ethos of individualized learning to best meet the unique needs of every child. Amy is passionate about the home-school relationship and is experienced in working collaboratively with teachers and other specialists to foster outstanding partnerships and outcomes.
